Rooms were reasonably spacious and functional!

we appreciated rooms with bathroom. the staff was supper friendly and took care of us. the location of the hotel was comfortable, to a nearby takeaway shop which was nice of him.

The room I had was brand-new and functional with bathroom and the staff was very attentive. Location: the hotel was just next door to -restaurants, stores, the mountains and the new UIO airport. Also, La Lomita was 4 miles away...

We had a short layover and Residencial El Viajero was perfect for our needs. The owner kindly picked us up from the airport and the 12-minute drive was convenient. Despite being basic, the room was clean with a comfortable bed and hot water. The breakfast provided was simple but sufficient. a great option for a stopover near the airport. We stayed at Residencial El Viajero for one night before our early flight. The hotel was quiet and conveniently located near the airport. The staff were extremely helpful and understanding, even with our limited Spanish. When our phone failed, they allowed us to use the office computer to preregister for our Galapagos trip. Despite there not being much to do nearby, it forced us to relax, which was a great way to start our vacation.

The location was very convenient, just a short 10-minute drive from the new Quito Airport. The staff were friendly and the rooms were spotlessly clean. I loved the fact that there was a large vegetable garden at the back of the property and even llamas on the premises. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, offering transportation from the airport and even helping us save money on our bus ticket to Otavalo. a great place for a pit stop before continuing your journey.

We had a great experience at Residencial El Viajero. They provided airport pickup at 1am and drove us to the hotel. The included breakfast was delicious with eggs, toast, coffee, and a tasty round bread stuffed with cheese. The owner went above and beyond by arranging a taxi for us and even personally driving us to the bus terminal. The staff were helpful and understanding, making our stay convenient and enjoyable. Highly recommended for late arrivals to the Quito airport!

I had a fantastic experience staying at Residencial El Viajero. The owner, Don Patricio, went above and beyond to assist me during my stay. He personally took me to the bus terminal and made sure I got on the right bus to my next destination. The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location is central and convenient, allowing me to easily explore the area on foot. Despite facing the highway, my room was surprisingly quiet, with no disruptive noise disturbing my sleep. I cannot wait to return to this exceptional hotel.
